Another Brick in the Wall Competition

OK everyone, it’s time to get out your overalls, sharpen your trowels and slap on the cement. Wates, the company that is building our new school, is running a competition to find the best ‘bricklayers’ in the land.
The winners will be able to lay bricks in a small section of the new build and have their names on a plaque there forever.
The competition starts today and will finish on 15th July. Here’s what you have to do:
1 Choose a team of a minimum of 4, maximum of 5
2 Download an application form here
3 Complete the application form and email it to watescomp@campsmount.com (closing date for applications is June 17)
4 One team will be chosen from each year; Y7, Y8, Y9, Y10 & Y12.
5 The bricklay-off will take place on Friday 1 July
6 There will be a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The winning team will then build a section of the new school on Friday 15 July
