Overwhelming Support on our Non Uniform Day

Non Uniform Day took place on Friday 15th November and was a huge success!

A massive THANK YOU and congratulations to the wonderful students, parents, staff and partners of Campsmount for their overwhelming support on our recent non-uniform fundraising day.

We asked students to bring £1 into school to wear non-uniform in aid of both the South Yorkshire Community Foundation (SYCF) flood appeal and the BBC's Children in Need appeal.

We've raised over £860 pound and have collected an amazing amount of items suggested by SYCF to help with the relief effort such as:

  • Toiletries: shower gel, shampoo, baby wipes, antibacterial gel, deodorant, toothpaste etc
  • Cleaning products: sponges, cloths, cleaning sprays, hard brushes etc
  • Non perishable food: tinned food, dried packaged food (rice, pasta), tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soup, sugar, cereal bars, biscuits etc

Donations were dropped off at Stainforth Resource Centre by our students on Monday 18th November. We met with Councillor Phill Bedford who was extremely grateful for our generosity and to Browns coaches who donated a driver and a bus for the round trip.

The money raised on Friday will be split between the BBC Children in Need charity and the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Appeal, which has been launched by the South Yorkshire Community Foundation (SYCF)  to support families and local people who have been displaced from their homes and had their property damaged by severe flooding, including residents and businesses in Doncaster.
