As part of our work to support students at this important and exciting stage of their learning journey we are hosting an event to help them plan their future. The evening is designed to provide you and your child with a comprehensive overview of our curriculum, which our staff are keen to discuss with you.
The Campsmount staff will be able to give key information to our different age groups of students:
Year 9: To understand the GCSE courses available to discuss with department staff. A talk will be held at 4.30pm and 5.30pm in the main hall to give an overview of curriculum with Mr Midgley. You will also gain understanding of the key progression routes for young people at 16 and beyond.
Years 10 and 11: To understand the range of courses on offer at Campsmount Post 16 and what is suitable for your child. A talk will be held at 5.00pm in the main hall to give an overview of Post 16 guidance with Miss Hudson, Mrs Wilson and Mr Self. You will also gain understanding of the key progression routes for young people at 16 and beyond.
Years 12 and 13: Meet potential universities and apprenticeship providers and gain advice and guidance on UCAS, and future plans from Post 16 staff.
To ensure the evening provides all students and parents with as much information as possible, we would like you to complete an online form via the link here.
We look forward to seeing you on the evening.
