We are committed to ensuring that our students receive top quality guidance, support and opportunities that will help in future decision making in all aspects of further education, training, employment and higher education. Our 'Careers Plan' and 'Employer Encounters Plan' is available to download on this web page.
All of our year 9, 10, 11 and 13 students will receive a further or higher education and careers interview with Mr Edward Cramphorn, our Higher Education Engagement Assistant from the Heppsy+ programme, who is able to give independent, impartial advice at this crucial stage of schooling. In addition to this, we have a dedicated member of staff, Mr Self, who coordinates careers visits off site and plans any in school activities, including inviting guest speakers into assemblies and to work with our students.
We actively encourage our students to speak to Mr Cramphorn, who is available to discuss their different options including CV’s, Further or Higher Education, Apprenticeships and other careers information. He is based in our Learning Resource Centre so if the door is open we encourage students to pop in for a chat.

Mr Cramphorn, Higher Education Engagement Assistant
"I am extremely privileged to be part of Campsmount Academy and have the opportunity to work with the students. I am a firm believer that every student can access Further and Higher Education, the question is finding the route that is best for their individual needs. If you have any questions please get in touch and I look forward to hearing from you." '
The school measures the impact of the careers plan by collecting annual data on intended careers and destination at post 16 and post 18. We also calculate NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) data on an annual basis. The most up to date NEET figures will be added to this page shortly.
