A letter from Miss Lindley, Head of Year, has been sent to parents of our students in year 11 with some important dates on:
Dear Parent,
The exam season is now upon us and I want to take this opportunity to wish all Year 11 the best of luck for their exams. Can parents please ensure your child is punctual, in full school uniform for every exam and attends all block revision sessions. Normal school timetable will run until Friday 24th May.
Below are some important dates for you and your child to be aware of:
Friday 24th May (pm) will be our traditional shirt signing/photograph afternoon. After lunch students will remain in the hall and have opportunity to sign shirts and take photographs, they will then be dismissed from school at approximately 2pm.
After half term, students are only expected to attend school for block revision sessions and exams, students have the timetable for this and there is a copy on the school website. Students should use available time at home to prepare and revise for upcoming exams. When attending block revision and exams, students must be punctual, equipped and in full school uniform at all times.
The final leaving assembly will be on Friday 28th June in the morning, parents will be invited to this along with students, more details about this assembly will follow.
Can I take this opportunity to say thank you for your continued support; this is a stressful time for our Year 11s but I know with their continued hard work they will reap the rewards.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Lindley
