Campsmount Academy

Our Performance (Outcomes & Ofsted)

At Campsmount we continuously monitor the performance of students and staff to ensure there is a consistent quality of teaching, learning and a raising of standards.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. Ofsted inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.  Our board of governors are also committed to acting on the advice gained from Ofsted during their inspections.

Full School Performance Data

Our Academy was inspected by Ofsted in September 2023 and it is with great pleasure and pride to share the fantastic news that our academy has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

I am delighted that Ofsted has recognised all the excellent work taking place at Campsmount Academy. The five areas inspected: the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and our sixth form provision, all received a ‘Good’ judgement.

The report highlights many key strengths of our academy. Some areas that make us very proud include:

· The school offers a curriculum that is ambitious and allows pupils to learn a broad range of knowledge and skills. They receive a good quality of education.

· Pupils are polite, courteous, well presented and show respect to adults and to each other.

· A culture of tolerance, respect and high expectation has been established.

· Pupils consistently behave well and show pride in their appearance and in their work. Pupils have good relationships with staff, and they are keen to learn.

· Teachers adapt the curriculum well to meet the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

· The academy has an ‘effective’ culture of safeguarding.
